Wednesday TV Ratings: ABC, CBS wins big with no World Series competiton

ABC took top honors last night new episodes of The Middle (10.19 million viewers, A18-49: 3.1), Suburgatory (9.83 million viewers, A18-49: 3.4), a repeat of Modern Family (11.36 million viewers, A18-49: 4.4), a new episode of Happy Endings (8.34 million viewers, 3.5), and a new Revenge rounding out the night (8.71 million viewers, A18-49: 2.8).

CBS claimed a second place win new episodes of Survivor: South Pacific (11.57 million viewers, A18-49: 3.4), Criminal Minds (11.36 million viewers, A18-49: 2.8), and CSI (9.01 million viewers, A18-49: 2.0).

NBC pulled off a rare third place win with an all repeat line-up of Up All Night (3.81 million viewers, A18-49: 1.1), Whitney (4.11 million viewers, A18-49: 1.2), Harry’s Law (4.42 million viewers, A18-49: 0.8), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (3.51 million viewers, A18-49: 0.8).

Fox had to settle for fourth place due to the World Series rain delay. Fox aired a repeat of Glee (2.48 million viewers, A18-49: 0.7) and another episode of Glee (2.32 million viewers, A18-49: 0.7).

The CW finished in last place last night with a repeat of Ringer (1.29 million viewers, A18-49: 0.4) leading into a new episode of America’s Next Top Model (2.23 million viewers, A18-49: 1.0)
