CBS took the lead as usual on Monday night with its winning batch of How I Met Your Mother (10.70 million viewers, A18-49: 4.1), 2 Broke Girls (11.14 million viewers, A18-49: 4.2), Two and a Half Men (13.81 million viewers, A18-49: 4.7), Mike & Molly (11.53 million viewers, A18-49: 3.8) and Hawaii 5-0 (10.28 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9).
ABC took second place last night with the Halloween special Scared Shrekless (8.68 million viewers, A18-49: 1.7), and new episodes of Dancing with the Stars (16.28 million viewers, A18-49: 2.8), and Castle (12.94 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9).
Fox pulled a third place win the first night of regular programming after the World Series coverage with new episodes of Terra Nova (6.38 million viewers, A18-49: 2.1) and House (6.55 million viewers, A18-49: 2.5).
NBC still finishing in fourth place despite a revised Monday night line-up of The Sing-Off (4.39 million viewers, A18-49: 1.4) and the premiere of the new newsmagazine Rock Center with Brian Williams (4.13 million viewers, A18-49: 1.0) – which drew less viewers than recently cancelled The Playboy Club.
The CW rounded out the night with repeats of Ringer (1.02 million viewers, A18-49: 0.3) and another episode of Ringer (0.87 million viewers, A18-49: 0.3).
