As of now, I think Fox’s new J.J. Abrams mystery/crime drama Alcatraz is one of my most anticipated new shows to see this upcoming midseason. Fox has been airing promos for the show periodically, but this is the first time the official teaser picture has been seen. Dark, gray, gloomy, mysterious, cold… everything that is usually associated with famed prison.

Alcatraz, starring Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, and Sam Neill will premiere Monday, January 16th at 8p.m. on Fox.
