TV Ratings for Thursday, December 1st: Community attracts its biggest audience since September

Fox held back the competition to grab a first place win last night thanks to new episodes of The X-Factor (10.20 Million viewers, A18-49: 3.1), and Bones (8.82 million viewers, A18-49: 2.8).

ABC took second place with a repeats of Santa Claus is Coming to Town (7.24 million viewers, A18-49: 2.2), followed by the holiday special CMA Country Christmas (9.01 million viewers, A18-49: 2.1).

CBS placed third with an all repeat line-up of The Big Bang Theory (10.45 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9), Rules of Engagement (8.08 million viewers, A18-49: 2.2), Person of Interest (8.08 million viewers, A18-49: 1.6), and The Mentalist (7.89 million viewers, A18-49: 1.6).

NBC finished in fourth with new episodes of Community (3.92 million viewers, A18-49: 1.7) – its biggest audience for the benched sitcom since September 29th, Parks and Recreation (3.72 million viewers, A18-49: 1.8), The Office (5.74 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9), Whitney (4.02 million viewers, A18-49: 1.9), and Prime Suspect (4.63 million viewers, A18-49: 1.3).

The CW placed fifth with repeats of The Vampire Diaries (1.11 million viewers, A18-49: 0.4), and The Secret Circle (0.86 million viewers, A18-49: 0.4).
