TV Ratings for Wednesday, Feb 22nd: More series/season lows from “SVU” “Survivor” “Modern Family” “Idol” & more

American Idol (15.88 million viewers, 18-49: 5.1) kept Fox in first place on Wednesday night. However, Idol was down 15% from last week and down 35% compared to this week last year.

CBS took second place with all new episodes of Survivor: One World (10.32 million viewers, 18-49: 2.8) – a series low for a regular telecast – Criminal Minds (12.62 million viewers, 18-49: 12.62 million viewers, A18-49: 3.1) – tying a season low – and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (11.77 million viewers, A18-49: 2.8).

ABC came in third with all new episodes of The Middle (7.50 million viewers, A18-49: 2.3) – a season low, Suburgatory (6.79 million viewers, A18-49: 2.3) – a series low, Modern Family (11.48 million viewers, A18-49: 4.7) – a season low, Happy Endings (5.70 million viewers, A18-49: 2.5), and 20/20: Before They Were Famous (4.81 million viewers, A18-49: 1.4).

NBC offered up new episodes of Whitney (4.13 million viewers, A18-49: 1.5), Are You There, Chelsea? (3.40 million viewers, 18-49: 1.3) – a series low for the sitcom, Rock Center with Brian Williams (2.69 million viewers, 18-49: 0.6) – a series low, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.94 million viewers, A18-49: 1.6) – yet another series low.

The CW finished last with a new episode of One Tree Hill (1.37 million viewers, A18-49: 0.7) leading into the finale installment of Remodeled (0.76 million viewers, A18-49: 0.3).
