Lindsay Lohan & Whoopi Goldberg head to “Glee” this May

Glee is making a big splash for May sweeps this season by casting Lindsay Lohan and Whoopi Goldberg in major roles for the end of the season. 

According to, The Oscar winner and The View co-host will join the Fox dramedy for a multi-episode arc that will be pivotal for some of the show’s key characters going forward into season four. Goldberg will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical professor from the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts to evaluate Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele). Her role on the show is expected to last three episodes, starting May 1st.

This is will an extremely important role because Kurt, Rachel, and Finn (Cory Monteith) who are supposed to graduate this season. Glee creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy has kept season four plans very quiet so far, but has said that even though these stars’ characters will be graduating, the stars won’t be leaving the show. However, there will be a big change in store for the show come next season. Whoopi Goldberg’s character will be a big factor in that change.

Meanwhile, Fox has also confirmed that Lindsay Lohan has been booked for the shows season finale. She will be playing herself, serving as one of the celebrity judged at Nationals

The Glee season finale is set to air Tuesday, May 22nd at 8p.m. on Fox.
