Ratings for Monday, April 9th: “The Voice” Proves To Be Louder Than CBS’ Comedies

NBC captured the top spot on Monday thanks to new editions of The Voice (10.40 million viewers, A18-49: 3.9), and Smash (6.02 million viewers, A18-49: 2.1). Both series tied season lows.

CBS finished in second thanks to new episodes of How I Met Your Mother (7.98 million viewers, A18-49: 3.4) – a season low, 2 Broke Girls (8.71 million viewers, A18-49: 3.4) – a season low, Two and a Half Men (10.39 million viewers, A18-49: 3.5) – a new series low, Mike & Molly (9.55 million viewers, A18-49: 3.2), and Hawaii 5-0 (10.19 million viewers, A18-49: 2.6).

Dancing with the Stars (16.07 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9), and an encore of Scandal (6.74 million viewers, A18-49: 1.3) left ABC in third place.

Fox served up original episodes of Bones (7.38 million viewers, A18-49: 2.1), and House (6.06 million viewers, A18-49: 2.0)  – season lows for both series. 

Lastly, The CW offered up the return of Hart of Dixie (1.12 million viewers, A18-49: 0.5), and new episode of Gossip Girl (1.05 million viewers, A18-49: 0.5),
