TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé production may be impacted by the government shutdown
The partial government shutdown is currently in day 35 (as of Friday, January 25th, 2019) with no end in sight, unfortunately. The shutdown has impacted many government agencies and individuals across the conuntry. Now these affects seem to be trickling over to the entertainment industry.
Production of season seven of 90 Day Fiancé may be in jeopardy due to the K-1 visa process participants need to go through in order to be on the show.
90 Day Fiancé follows couples who meet in another countries and get engaged so the foreign partner can move to the United States, then have 90-days to get married, or return back to their country.
Significant delays may happen in the processing of visas for people because of the shutdown, which may delay production and the release of season seven.
For everyone’s sanity, lets just re-open the government!
