TV Ratings for Thursday, November 3rd: Bones returns strong for Fox. Community & Big Bang up vs last week.

Fox won the night in the 18-49 demo (3.4) in Thursday night thanks to new episodes of The X-Factor (11.28 million viewers, A18-49: 3.6), and the season premiere of Bones (10.02 million viewers, A18-49: 3.3) – its best season premiere since 2008.

CBS took the total viewers crown (12.94 million viewers), but second place overall on a competitive Thursday night with new episode of The Big Bang Theory (15.49 million viewers, A18-49: 5.1) – the nights number 1 show in total viewers and A18-49 demo, Rules of Engagement (11.90 million viewers, A18-49: 3.7), Person of Interest (11.66 million viewers. A18-49: 2.7), and The Mentalist (13.46 million viewers, A18-49: 2.9).

ABC placed third place with new episode of Charlie’s Angels (5.38 million viewers, A18-49: 1.2), Grey’s Anatomy (9.26 million viewers, A18-49: 3.5), and Private Practice (6.76 million viewers, A18-49: 2.6).

NBC offered new episodes of Community (3.87 million viewers, A18-49: 1.7) – up a whooping 21% vs. last week, Parks and Recreation (3.94 million viewers, A18-49: 2.0), The Office (6.05 million viewers, A18-49: 3.1), Whitney (4.33 million viewers, A18-49: 2.1), and Prime Suspect (4.47 million viewers, A18-49: 1.2).

The CW finished in last place with new episodes of The Vampire Diaries (3.34 million viewers, A18-49: 1.5), and The Secret Circle (2.27 million viewers, A18-49: 0.9).
