Fox Pulls “Breaking In” From Tuesdays

It seems like Megan Mullally couldn’t save Breaking In a second time, as Fox plans to pull the second year comedy effective immediately.

Fox has made the decision to pull Breaking In from its Tuesday night schedule due to its lackluster ratings this season. Breaking In debuted March 6th to 3.60 million viewers, and a 1.7 in the 18-49 demo, the lowest rated show on Fox’s Tuesday night comedy block. Since its season premiere, the series’ ratings has eroded each week.

Breaking In got a second chance at life this season after Fox cancelled the show last May. Back in November, Fox announced that Will & Grace star Megan Mullally would join the cast in part of a revamp to lure in more viewers, a plan that obviously hasn’t worked out to well.

Originally, new episodes of Breaking In were slated to return next Tuesday in the 930p.m. after New Girl, now repeats of New Girl will be aired in the timeslot.

The remaining episodes of Breaking In will most likely air sometime this summer with Fox’s other cancelled sitcom, I Hate My Teenage Daughter.
