ABC has given full season orders to Tuesday night comedies The Kids are Alright and Splitting Up Together
The Kids Are Alrightairs after The Conners at 8:30pm, benefitting from a strong from a lead-in from that series. Splitting Up Together airs later in the evening at 9:30pm after Black-ish and is usually the least watched series in the Tuesday comedy block. This fact may explain why The Kids Are Alright will produce 22 episodes this season compared to the 18 episode order for Splitting Up Together.
The Kids Are Alrightand Splitting Up Together join ABC’s three other new fall series Single Parents, A Million Little Things, and The Rookie in receiving full season orders.
