The broadcast TV upfronts are a week away and it’s time to take a closer look at what the networks schedules may look like for the 2019-2020 season. Over the next week, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and The CW will be making the final calls on what shows will be renewed and canceled. Here is a breakdown the fate of CBS’ shows and whether they’re RENEWED, LIKELY TO BE RENEWED, COULD GO EITHER WAY, LIKELY TO BE CANCELED OR CANCELED.
The CW did something the young network has never done before, and thats renewing its ENTIRE lineup. 14 scripted series are expected to return for the 2019-2020 season. That number includes all FIVE new freshman series All American, Charmed, In the Dark, Legacies, and Roswell, New Mexico. Long running series iZombie, Jane the Virgin, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend are set to end this season.
The CW has already given early pickups to Arrow spinoff Batwoman starring Ruby Rose, Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene starring Lucy Hale, and an updated version of Nancy Drew.
